The Ravi Zacharias International
Ministries Asia-Pacific (RZIMAP) office was started in January 2003 to
work alongside the Church
in her
efforts
to reach the highly diverse and pluralistic culture in the region.
In
fulfilling the Great Commission, it is our mission to reach
those who shape the ideas of a culture with the credibility
of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and to engage the questions
of both skeptics and believers by offering an apologetic that
makes sense to both the heart and mind.
Applying
apologetics and biblical teaching in our ministry, our focus
is three-fold:
- Evangelism – we
respond to invitations to participate in different evangelistic
events at universities,
church missions and
conferences.
- Training – we
work in partnership with churches and other organizations
to offer training
for Christians
in how to communicate
their faith to unbelieving friends and colleagues. We have
also developed an introductory Apologetics seminar to help believers
understand the
issues confronting our Christian worldview and learn how
to provide
a proper response to such challenges.
- Spiritual Formation – we
believe that an effective Christian witness involves
being transformed into
Christ-likeness by the renewing
of the mind (Romans 12:2). As such, the emphasis of our
teaching and training programs is on helping believers think and
live
Christianly
for the glory of God.
